Hello! I am Michele and I love quilling!!! I was first exposed to the art a few years ago, where I saw round Christmas ornaments made of paper, at a local art & craft show. The vendor also had some greeting cards for sale, featuring quilling. A small sign on their table gave a brief description of the art and I do remember thinking how cool it was and how unique. Fast forward a few years, to the beginning of the pandemic and while I continued to work – I am in healthcare although in an outpatient setting – I was looking for something to occupy my downtime from work, since we weren’t able to go anywhere. On one of many shopping “trips” to Amazon.com, I purchased a small starter quilling kit and a how to book, and the next thing I knew I was hooked – maybe a little obsessed. I have been quilling ever since and really can’t get enough of it – it truly brings me to my “happy place”.

Two years later and LOTS of practice, QuillGirl was born, followed by Quill Girl Creations, the place to find really unique gift and home decor ideas, Quilling is my passion and I hope to be able to share this passion with you.
